“Esquina de Angelitos”..es un collage sonoro en dos movimientos, hecho con pequeños segmentos de otros de mis trabajos, básicamente, la obra fue hecha para explorar la relación existente entre mis trabajos, y, a la vez, para ver como una serie de sonidos coherentes, pueden aun generar significados y revelar estructuras escondidas, cuando se sacan de contexto. A lo largo de toda la obra, intenté hacer énfasis en el ritmo y la claridad de la estructura, tratando de escapar de la naturaleza abstracta de otros collages sonoros.
La obra está dividida en dos movimientos: “…and they forced him to eat her raw wax”, un movimiento caótico e intenso y “Why…Why you threw Jean Seberg to the lions?”, una especie de oscura chanson, ambos movimientos son como gemelos, similares en muchos aspectos, pero con su personalidad bien definida.
“Esquina de Angelitos”…is a two movements collage extravaganza, made with little segments or slices, of other works of mine, basically it was made to explore the relationship that exist between my works, and at the same time, to see how a bunch of coherent sounds, when taken out of their context, can still generate meanings and show hidden structures. Throughout all the work, I tried to make great emphasis in rhythm, and clarity of structure, trying to scape from the common abstract and disjointed nature of other sound collages.
The work is divided in two movements: “…and they forced him to drink her raw wax”, an evil, chaotic and heavy work, like a RIO band from the seventies on crack, and “Why…Why you threw Jean Seberg to the lions?”, a dark and melancholic psycho-chanson, they are like twins, similar in a lot of aspects but with their own clearly defined personality.
